VAT Registration
Part of our company formation service in Italy is to register your company for VAT.
Italy is ranked as the 8th strongest economy in the world, by nominal GDP. According to recent data, Italians prefer products “Made in Italy”. In the latter part of 2020, Italians started demanding quality products and are therefore likely to be less influenced by promotions. This landscape makes Italy the perfect place for companies looking to build powerful brand loyalty, and to appeal to a distinctly local market.
Our all-inclusive Italian company formation package provides you with all you need to incorporate and run a limited liability company (S.r.l.) in Italy, whether you’re looking to incorporate a “Traditional S.r.l.” or a “Simplified S.r.l.”

Italy’s most common vehicles for incorporating a business are the Simplified S.r.l. and the Traditional S.r.l.
The initial share capital for both traditional and simplified limited companies in Italy has been reduced to €1.
Simplified companies cannot have an initial share capital greater than €10,000 and can only adopt the standard-model articles of association by-laws provided by Italian law, i.e. no amendments to these standard-model articles are permitted. A Traditional S.r.l., however, is permitted to tailor-make its own by-laws.
Corporate Tax in Italy (IRES) is currently 24%. However, a regional tax called IRAP also applies, and is currently at a suggested rate of 3.9%. This rate can be increased or decreased by regional authorities, resulting in a differing effective tax rate depending on where the company is situated.
